Continue supporting the expansion of and offering of new academic programs, namely Latinx studies, Asian American studies, South Asian studies, an environmental studies major, and increased offerings of foreign languages and increase the hiring of diverse faculty and university personnel 

 

Collaborate with campus organizations to host the first ever annual DC Culture Day in the spring to showcase DC artists, musicians, and minority-owned businesses

 

 

Bolster the efforts to establish Asian American Pacific Islander housing in the Georgetown neighborhood 

 

 

Advocate on behalf of the University recognizing cultural holidays on the official academic calendar

Continue working alongside the Office of the President in overseeing the financial support of the Georgetown University 272 descendant community through grants and work with University leadership to more meaningfully recognize and face Georgetown University/Jesuit’s role in slavery and other violations of human rights on a global scale

LGBTQ+ Community

  • Revitalize and support efforts towards the creation of LGBTQ+ affinity housing in the Georgetown neighborhood

  • Reinvigorate the Crossroads Living Learning Community

  • Work with University Information Services to simplify the process of changing your gender on MyAccess with an emphasis on the inclusion of a non-binary option 

  • Advocate to the Office of Residential Living and the Office of Neighborhood Life for the inclusion of all-gender housing
